Austria

Austria, officially the Republic of Austria, borders Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein.
The capital of this highly mountainous land, through which the Alps are extending their beauty, is Vienna. Other remarkable cities, located on the territory of Austria, are Salzburg, Innsbruck, Eisenstadt, and many others.
Austria has been the birthplace of many famous composers, which contributes to its reputation as one of the most cultural countries during the Renaissance and the Classic era. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Strauss, Johann Strauss, Jr. and Joseph Haydn are some of the composers, who have brought the music in Austria to a new level.
Due to its mountainous lay, the best time to visit this extraordinary country is winter. A must in this season is a trip and vacation in the city of Innsbruck. The place is known for its winter sports, hosting the Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976. The small city offers not only a wide range of winter sports, but also rich history and serenity of the peaceful streets, while enjoying one of the most beautiful views of the Alps.
Another small but remarkable city is Salzburg. Home of the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, this place can offer a relaxation at some of the cozy cafes along the river Salzach. The unique baroque architecture was one of the reasons for Salzburg to be enlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
All in all, Austria is a place for people who are looking for a relaxation among history sights, beautiful slops covered in snow and quietness of the small cities.
